Assimilation + Celebration:
First-generation immigrant children have to grasp with a loss of origin, self-denial of cultural origins, and being rejected from both cultures. For immigrant children none of these have names. The accumulation of these experiences becomes overwhelming to experience. In-spite of these experiences we should take the time to celebrate our accomplishments. Just like as our families did when we were kids.
